Sixi Li
Soprano
Chinese soprano Li Sixi began her vocal studies at the age of fifteen. She completed her undergraduate degree at the Conservatorio di Musica di Ferrara and went on to earn her master’s degree at the prestigious Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan. She is currently pursuing an artistic internship at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Poland.
In 2025, she was awarded First Prize at the Royal Mas International Vocal Competition. She has appeared in the benefit gala Musiche dal Mondo, organized by the AMA Alzheimer’s Association, where she performed the Italian Ritto Concerto with Claudio Abbado. She has also represented her school in the Fontanellato performance project and appeared both as soloist and in duet at the Giuseppe Verdi Theater.
Her operatic engagements include the role of the Elf in Jaś i Małgosia at the Ferrara Provincial Theater, as well as the title role of Madre in the world premiere of L’antica essenza del teatro, an original opera by contemporary composer Professor Amariani. She also distinguished herself by achieving first place in the Asian Soprano category in the entrance examination for the Verdi Conservatory in Milan.
With passion, humility, and a deep dedication to her art, Li Sixi continues to develop her career as a versatile and expressive voice on both the concert and opera stage.
